ZapDreamBox becomes ZapEnigma2

ZapEnigma2 is software to view your satellite television anywhere as long as you have a decoder under Enigma2. It also allows you to have a basic TV Guide and to schedule recordings. 

ZapEnigma2 also allows you to import an XMLTV file for your TV Guide. 

How to use ZapEnigma2?

Go to the Edit menu > Preferences

There are two modes, where you use it in local version, that is to say you use ZapEnigma2 via a PC in your room and your Enigma2 decoder in your living room. In this case, enter the IP address of your decoder, the login, and the password.

VLC must be absolutely installed on your PC! If you haven't done so yet, download it here: https://videolan.org and the path must point to the vlc.exe file

In the 2nd mode, if you want to use ZapEnigma2 outside your home, you must enter the Dynamic address (dyndns.org) or another and the port you wish to use. And for this 2nd mode, you absolutely need a PC open at home with ZapEnigma2 Server installed on it, which will send commands to your Enigma2 satellite decoder and transfer video and audio to where you are; be careful, it all depends on your Internet speed, which is why in the preferences you can optimize the bitrate.

Take any channel and look at the electronic guide and schedule what you want for 7 days.
